With its black lights, neon colors, dance music, and hundreds of people frolicking through foam, the Foam Glow afterparty looks a lot like an outdoor music festival. Except, unlike at a typical music festival, the crowds of partiers had to run a 5K to get there.
The Foam Glow fun run features runners in all-white clothing navigating Foam Glow zones, where they’re sprayed with nontoxic foam. Each zone sprays orange, pink, or blue foam, which glows in the dark under the course’s high-intensity black lights. By the end of the race, the runners’ outfits look completely tie-dyed, making them the envy of all chameleons.
After they cross the finish line, participants head to the afterparty, where DJs, food, drinks, and more foam await. But it’s not only about having fun: each race benefits a local children’s charity.
