What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Art & Wine offers creative painting classes in a stress-free, fun environment, where beginners, or experienced painters alike, can paint while enjoying their favorite beverage at a local bar or restaurant. As our events are an hour longer than the competition’s events this time allows painters to receive individualized personal training. The ticket will include everything needed to complete a beautiful 16 x 20 painting, from easels, paint, brushes, aprons, etc., so you can leave with your own masterpiece. You just bring your fun loving self! Check out our upcoming events so you can join the fun.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We thought it was time to bring the “party” into Paint Parties, with a fun night of games, jokes, prizes, eating and drinking while still receiving step by step, detailed instructions from Professional, Award Winning artists who will share their tricks of the trade from how to mix paints, to brush selection to brush strokes, and much more! It still is after all why people attend the parties to make the best painting they possibly can and we offer that.
What do you love most about your job?
The excitement and enthusiasm from a group of painters is the exciting and the idea of knowing that you helped someone learn to paint, or to better their painting, by sharing your artistic experience is by far the best part of the job, though we at Winnipeg Art and Wine don’t really think of it as a job but a calling!
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
The feedback we receive from painters, especially beginners, is fabulous with the biggest reactions being that new painters can’t believe how easy it is to do, especially with the step by step instructions and the added bonus of an extra hour of class that allows for one on one teaching provided by our professional artists who make it easy!
