Visitors to its prairie-river environs must heed woodland obstacles such as the 14th hole’s bordering oak trees. The signature fourth hole bookends the fairway with water and out-of-bounds areas, which continue to challenge shots to the green.
At Kingswood Golf & Country Club, devious traps dot the first four holes, which span a quaint residential neighbourhood. Players skirt the La Salle River for the latter half of the course, launching the ball across its waters for the 8th hole and aiming at an island green to conquer the 18th.
The Meadows Golf Course sets players on a landscape of fast and true rolling greens on a course that combines accessibility and challenge.
