Jitendra Yoga’s passionate instructors work toward six goals: to serve, love, give, purify, meditate, and realize. Resident yogi Jordan aims to infuse these into everything he does, inside and outside of class. He has turned to yoga to help him overcome depression, and strives to pass those lessons onto his students via yoga classes that aim to bring a sense of calm and balance to their lives. His classes focus on relaxing the body with slow, precise movements and steady, comfortable postures, as well as enriching the mind with meditation and conversation on life philosophies.

Though Jitendra Yoga spans across two studios, the classes remain small, with 3 or 12 students per class. Jordan takes advantage of the intimate class sizes, offering hands-on adjustments and insights into each student’s habits, such as not arching your back during a cobra pose or scratching for fleas during a downward dog pose.
