The course at Bel Acres Golf & Country Club starts and finishes with lengthy par 5s, worthy bookends to a challenging jaunt along the 18-hole championship track. Challenges sprout up near every turn, with dense forests lining the fairways and water hazards coming into play on five holes, including the 11th hole’s dogleg left around a large lake, the par 3 13th hole’s tee shot over water, and the 14th hole’s Bermuda Triangle-like ability to make entire golf carts disappear.

After conquering the course, players can sit back on the clubhouse patio and watch while others line up their approach shots onto the green at the par 3 third hole, where a pond just beyond the green snatches golf balls from hits that go long.
