The lush Assiniboine Golf Club was established in 1917, and has been through some intense remodeling since its inception. In the 1940s, half the course had to be converted into a runway to help with the wartime effort. Since then, the number of tee boxes was brought back up to 18 with the addition of three more greens and creative landscaping to create the unique golfing experience offered today.
