Elcheshen’s Photography Studio’s namesake shutterbug Fred Elcheshen—a certified national photographic judge with upwards of 30 years of snapping experience—works tirelessly with his creative team to capture portraits that marry artistry with an illustrative style. Youngsters prepare for their fairy-tale portrait session by choosing an ensemble from a collection of costumes that includes diaphanous fairy dresses, rugged pirate trappings, and historically accurate centaur gym trunks. Once sitters have donned their whimsical togs, Fred spends two sitcoms’ worth of time imprisoning images whose mythical scale is heightened by Grimm-inspired backgrounds such as a moonlit grove or castle window. Parental units then select a favourite still to be transformed into an 8”x10” float-wrap print.
